Aberdeen Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme

Aberdeen’s business community is now reaping the rewards of a new initiative allowing eligible businesses to apply for a government grant of up to £3000 to contribute to the installation cost of a gigabit-capable connection.

A gigabit connection can offer speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, meaning a faster and more capable connection for your business and your customers. It provides faster upload and download times allowing your business to run technologies such as hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony and cloud applications.

Aberdeen businesses can now apply for connection vouchers to get up to speed. It’s fantastic news for Aberdeen businesses that have had the Accelerate Aberdeen scheme and Aberdeen City Council working hard to secure improved broadband infrastructure for the North East.

If you are an Aberdeen business turning over up to £40m a year with less than 250 employees, you are eligible to apply.

With faster connectivity changing the way businesses grow and compete in a digitally led market, the grant of up to £3,000 goes a long way to bringing your business up to speed.

  • Up to £3,000 free grant
  • Smarter Working
  • Competitive Advantage
  • Connectivity that won’t let you down
