Windows 8 – packed with features

September 7, 2012

Both the Lumia 820 and the Lumia 920 will run the all new and improved Windows 8 operating system which amongst many things allows for “wireless charging” meaning users can charge the device on a specially designed pad without cables.

Both also have loads of storage, the 820 has 8GB and the 920 has 32GB – both have expandable storage with micro SD slot and with the cloud based Microsoft Sky Drive.

The new Lumia 820 and 920 smartphones will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM will help power the Lumia 820. The camera in the both the devices will be 8 Megapixels and have improved image stabilization and camera software this will help the devices live up to the “PureView” camera branding. Not only will the camera take picture perfect shots, but the HD screen resolution will do you photos and videos justice.

The launch date is expected for later this year and coincides with another big phone release (the new iPhone) and the big question is can the new Lumia range compete with the big players of the mobile market.

I am sure the new Lumia handsets will be amost the most popular when businesses start to move towards 4G serrvices, remember  you  can get your new Windows 8 phone with abica the only directly accredited 4G partner in Scotland
